Installing the charge air line
WARNING:

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down
- Carefully feed in the charge air line (1)
- Make sure that the radiator (2) is not damaged
- Connect connectors (1) and lock
The connectors (1) must engage audibly
- Connect connectors (1) and lock

- Fasten the holder (1) onto the electrical auxiliary coolant pump (2)
- Feed in and install the electrical auxiliary coolant pump (2)
- Tighten nut (1)
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Check seal (1) for damage, replace if necessary
Replacing the damaged seal
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Use of sharp or pointy tools for installation or removal is prohibited

- Remove damaged seal
- Clean the gasket groove (1) with a dry cloth
The gasket groove (1) must be clean
- Replace gasket

- Install the seal dry without lubricant or mounting agent

- Thread in seal and install
- Make sure that the seal is installed correctly in the gasket groove (1)
- Make sure that the sealing lip (2) is directed to the inside as shown
- Lock clamp (1)
- Connect the charge air line (2) to the charge air hose
- Make sure that the clamp (1) engages audibly
- Make sure that the raised part (1) at the screw points of the reinforcement strut points toward the front subframe (2)
As illustrated
- Feed in and install the reinforcement strut (2)
- Tighten the screws (1)

- Fasten the coolant line (3) with holder (1) to the reinforcement strut (2)
