- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons
- Feed in the separating cord (approx. 50 cm) from the special tool 2 357 248 in the special tools 2 326 501
- Insert the separating cord carefully starting from below the rear spoiler (1)
- Carefully release the rear spoiler (1) with the special tool 2 326 501 by pulling movement from the tailgate and remove it upwards
- Remove the adhesive residues from the tailgate
