Installing the rear module bracket

Check 

• Check the seal (1) on the rear module bracket for damage
• Check the locks (2) for damage

Result 

» The seal (1) on the rear module bracket is damaged

Measure 

• Replace the rear module bracket

Result 

» The locks (2) are damaged

Measure 

• Replace the locks (2)
• Position the rear module bracket (2) and close the locks (1)

• Tighten down screws (2)
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Module bracket at the rear door
  Torx socket M5x12	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Install the rubber grommet (1) of the Bowden cable for the inner door opener
• Clip in the detents of the door wiring harness (1) into the module bracket (2)
• Connect and lock the connector of the door wiring harness (1) at the rear module bracket (2)
• Move the power window up until the side window snaps into the holder correctly
• Remove adhesive tape

• Refer to INSTALLING WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP ON THE REAR DOOR .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .
