Removing the front sill trim on the right

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Remove the front sill trim

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Bending of plastic components.
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components.

Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.

Release and remove the front sill trim (1) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) at the clips (2).
Remove clips (1) if necessary and place on the front sill trim.
