Removing the engine from the assembly jig

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Stage the workshop crane 2 220 718.
- Prepare the special tool (lifting equipment) 0 490 567 (11 0020). NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The workshop crane, lifting equipment, and mounting brackets on the engine must be connected to each other in such a way that the engine hangs straight when being lifted. - Connect both hooks of the special tool 0 490 567 (11 0 020) to the front and rear of the engine with the mounting brackets.
- Connect the workshop crane 2 220 718
to the special tool (lifting equipment) 0 490 567 (11 0 020).
- Slacken nuts (1).
- Unclamp the clamp jaws of the special tool (motor mount) 2 413 082
in the direction of the arrow.
- Raise the engine slowly.
- Unscrew the screws (marks) and remove the special tool 2 411 718.
