When the engine is stopped after the completion of trip, it may be necessary to run the electric fan. In rare cases, operation of the electric fan can last up to 11 min. This protects the components. In this case, replacing the electric fan will not remedy the problem!

- Use only the approved transmission oil.
- Check the transmission oil level after completing the repair.
- Fasten the transmission with the special tools 0 495 446 (24 0 200) and 2 449 398 on the assembly stand 0 495 187 (00 2 300) .
- Pull out radial shaft seal (1) with special tools 0 496 716 (24 1 420) and 0 493 321 (13 5 250) .
