Install rear spoiler

- Check the rear spoiler.
Do not install rear spoilers with poor fitting accuracy.
A rear spoiler loosely placed on the tailgate must not protrude, especially at the corners.
- Move the center (1) of the tailgate to the outer side of the rear spoiler with adhesive tape.CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION
Yellow plastic adhesive tape 83199410979 - Place the rear spoiler (1) on the tailgate and align it centrally on the adhesive tape and the tailgate edge.
Check whether the rear spoiler (1) fits correctly and is in the center.
- Clean the bonding surface of the tailgate.CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION
Cleaning agent R2 500 ml 83190417324 - Pull off the protective film (2) of the bonding surface, align the rear spoiler (1) as shown and bond to the tailgate.
- Press down on the rear spoiler (1) with force using the hands over the entire area, in particular at the edges.
- Press with thumb or the back of the hand over the entire surface, since the adhesion of the adhesive tape is built up mainly by the contact pressure.
- Remove the adhesive tape.
