Replace the trim panel for the storage shelf

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING REAR SEAT BENCH .
• Refer to REMOVING LEFT AND RIGHT BACKREST SIDE SECTION .
• Refer to REMOVING RIGHT C-PILLAR TRIM PANEL LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING SIDE TRIM PANEL, REAR LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR THE STORAGE SHELF .

Remounting the top tether trim 

• Release the top tether trim (1) with a suitable special tool from the set of special tools  0 493 752 (00 9 329)  from the detents (2)  .
• Remove the top tether trim (1) from the storage floor.

  NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
• Position the top tether trim (1) on the new storage box.

  Clip in the top tether trim (1) with the detents (2) in the storage floor.

  Remove rear mid-range speaker 

• Release cover (1) from detents (2) using a suitable special tool from the set of special tools  0 493 752 (00 9 329) 
• Remove cover (1) from the storage compartment.

• Loosen screws (1).
• Lift mid-range speaker (2) to reach the underlying plug connections.

• Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
• Remove mid-range speaker (2).

  Remove rear tweeter 

• Loosen screws (1).
• Guide out and remove tweeter (2) with the cable.

  Installing the rear tweeter 

• Feed in the tweeter (2) with the cable and position correctly.
• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Speaker to rear shelf/support/head restraint
  Screw	Tightening torque	1.8 Nm

  Installing the rear mid-range speaker 

• Position the mid-range speaker (2).
• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

• Correctly position the mid-range speaker (2).
• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Speaker to rear shelf/support/head restraint
  Screw	Tightening torque	1.8 Nm

• Position the cover (1) from the storage box,
• Clip in cover (1) with the detents (2) in the storage box.
