Installing the drive for the backrest angle adjustment

Insert the drive for the backrest angle adjustment (2).
Connect plug (1).

Pull out the drive linkage (1) in the direction of the arrow.

Tighten the screws (1).

Check the seat functions of the front seat
Connect special tool 0 496 519 (61 4 150) with the wiring harness of the vehicle and the removed front seat.

Disconnecting all battery ground leads

Check the seat functions using the operating unit on the front seat.

Disconnect the special tool 0 496 519 (61 4 150) from the wiring harness of the vehicle and from the removed front seat.

NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.

Attach the backrest cover (2).
Secure the clip (1).
