Prepare the tires for installation

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
The following must be observed for the installation and disassembly of tires: 
Only technicians that possess the "Certified BMW Tire Technician" certificate are authorized to perform this work .
Use only tire mounting machines that are approved and certified by BMW.
Use only mounting levers with a plastic cover that are approved by BMW and only tire-mounting paste products that are approved by BMW.
The procedure for the installation must follow and comply with the instructions in the Owner's Manual for the tire mounting machine.
When tire sealant is used, it is absolutely required that the installed wheel electronics are replaced.
For approved wheel and tire combinations, tire brands and optional equipment, refer to Aftersales Information Research (AIR).
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
Follow the Owner's Manual provided by the manufacturer of the tire mounting machine.
Use only tire mounting machines that are in perfect condition to prevent damage to the wheel rim and/or the tire.
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
The customer is to be informed that strong acceleration or strong braking should be avoided initially.
The assembly paste can cause the tire to turn on the wheel rim and result in an imbalance.

Preliminary work 

The tire valve must be replaced after the wheel electronics have been disassembled.
