Removing the backrest upper section adjustment gear on the front seat

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE TOP REAR PANEL FROM THE FRONT SEAT REAR PANEL .
Refer to REMOVING THE REAR PANEL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FRONT SEAT REAR PANEL .

Loosen the seat cover (1) in the marked area.

Unclip the cover (1) towards the inside.
Pull the shaft (2) out from the transmission for backrest upper section adjustment.
Release the nut (3) and remove washer.

Pull out clamp (1).
Remove the transmission for the backrest upper section adjustment (2).
