Installing the catalytic converter near engine, bottom at bank 1

Any work must exclusively be carried out with an exhaust system that has cooled down.

Replace gasket (1).

Position the catalytic converter at the bottom of cylinder bank 1 (2).
Replace nuts (1).

Parts: Nuts

Tighten nuts (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Firewall catalytic converter to catalytic converter near engine
Nut M8 Replace nuts.	Tightening torque Tightening torque	17 Nm 28 Nm
