Remove the actuator for the exhaust flap

Risk of burning!

Any work must exclusively be carried out with an exhaust system that has cooled down.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

Refer to ADJUSTING THE EXHAUST FLAP SERVOMOTORS INTO INSTALLATION POSITION .
Refer to REMOVING THE REAR DIFFUSER .

Unlock the plug connection (1).
Disconnect the connector (1) of the exhaust flap (2).

Loosen screws (1).
Remove the controller drive for the exhaust flap (2).
