Removing the rear emblem

Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components.
Scratches, surface damage.

Protect working area.
Handle tools and components carefully.

Mask off the working area with plastic adhesive tape to prevent paint damage.
Heat the emblem (1) carefully with a hot air blower and release it from the adhesive strip with the special tool 0 490 539 (00 9 322) .
Carefully lever off the emblem from the guide pins (2) and remove.
The emblem must be replaced after removal.
