- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Carefully heat the rear spoiler (1) with a hot air blower (maximum of 100°C).
- Carefully release the rear spoiler (1) from the trunk lid with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325).
- Clean the bonding surface of the trunk lid.
