Care measures for vehicles in stock (new and used vehicles) as well as vehicles to be decommissioned in customer hands (M5 2018-2022)

Allow the engine to warm up for 60 minutes (environment > 0°C) or 80 minutes (environment < 0°C) (exception: the vehicle is not started during the entire stationary period) New vehicles (only vehicles with gasoline engine) every 3 months
Used vehicles (does not apply to vehicles with a Premium Selection certificate) (vehicles with gasoline engines only) every 3 months

Change the engine oil and oil filter when the engine is at operating temperature (exception: the vehicle is not started during the entire stationary period)

Apply surface protection: Outside car wash with interior vehicle cleaning and subsequent paint and chrome care. Clean the rubber seals of the folds and doors and apply talcum powder or rubber care product. Use materials approved by BMW for cleaning and vehicle preservation to recondition engines, engine compartments, vehicle underbodies, axles and assemblies. Used vehicles In general
