Removing the emblem at the rear

- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
- Mask the working area with plastic adhesive tape to avoid paint damage.
- Heat the emblem (1) carefully with a hot air blower and release it from the adhesive strip with the special tool 0 496 571 (00 9 327) .

- Carefully lever off the emblem (1) from the guide pins (2) and remove.
The emblem (1) must be replaced after disassembly.
- Remove adhesive residue on the tailgate and clean the adhesive area.
