- Cover working area.
- Draw off shavings during drilling using a vacuum cleaner.
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Position headliner (1) in the vehicle in the arrow direction as shown so that there is place for drilling on the opposite side.
- Protect the working area against falling shavings with a suitable cover (1).NOTE: The operations shown only for one side must be carried out on both sides.
- Drill out blind rivets (1) and remove the rear holder (2).
Ensure that as little pressure as possible is used for drilling in order to avoid damage to the roof outer skin behind it!
