Removing the cell module lid

Precondition
The cell module must be put down on the workbench. The workbench must be clean and free from oils and shavings.
- Unclip lugs (1) with 2 298 505
and carefully remove the lid.
- Place the cover (1) from the scope of parts 8849422 on the cell module immediately after removing the lid.
- To prevent the lid from slipping, fix the lid with adhesive tape.CONSUMABLE DESCRIPTION

- Check the cell venting units for damage in the marked area.
Result
» You can continue if the cell degassing units are not damaged.
Measure
- If the cell venting units are damaged, the cell module must be replaced.
