Releasing the rear left and right shock absorber from the body

Releasing the rear shock absorber from the body
» NOTE
The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Release all the cables from holder (2).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.WARNING: Car may slip off the vehicle hoist where components are supported .
Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!- Secure the vehicle hoist against lowering and lifting.
- Make sure that the vehicle does not lift off the mounting plates on the vehicle lift.
- Position special tool 2 219 012 with special tools 2 411 683 and 2305 379 under wheel carrier (1).
- Support wheel carrier (1) using special tool 2 219 012 and at the same time do not press against the spring force of the coil spring .
- Loosen screws (1).
- Disconnect the special tool 2 219012 and set it aside.
