Installing the clutch master cylinder partially

Install the clutch master cylinder (2).
Replace bolts (1).
Parts: bolt
Insert the bolts (1) and turn clockwise by 90°.
The lugs (arrows) must lock in place in the groove.

Insert clutch master cylinder (3) into clutch pedal (2).
Replace bolts (1).

Insert the bolts (1) and turn clockwise by 90°.

Connect the supply hose (1) on the clutch master cylinder (2).

Connect the hydraulic line (2) on the clutch master cylinder (3).
The clamp (1) must engage audibly.

Connect the bleeder unit for the brake fluid
To guarantee a correct vent of the brake system, the following procedure must be observed!
Top up the brake fluid in the expansion tank to the lower edge of the thread (1) with new brake fluid.
Vent the hose of the bleeder unit before connecting.

Connect the bleeder unit (1) to the brake fluid reservoir and turn on.
Observe the operating instructions of the corresponding equipment manufacturer.
Do not exceed the tire pressure of 2 bar.
Removing rear underbody protection
Version A:
Remove screws (arrows).

Feed out the rear underbody protection (1).
Version B:
Remove screws (arrows).

Feed out and remove the rear underbody protection (1).

Venting clutch hydraulic system
Remove the dust cap from the bleed valve (1).
Connect the vent hose to the bleed valve (1).
Open the bleed valve (1) and rinse until clear, bubble-free brake fluid flows out.
Close bleed valve (1).

Installing underbody protection at rear

Version A:

Feed in rear underbody protection (1) and install.

Tighten screws (arrows).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Underbody protection
Hexagon screw	Tightening torque	3 Nm

Version B:

Feed in rear underbody protection (1) and install.

Tighten screws (arrows).

Disconnecting the bleeder unit for the brake fluid

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Paint damage .
Mechanical or chemical action may lead to paint damage .

Cover up working area with specified covering material only.

Switch off bleeder unit (1) and remove it from the brake fluid expansion tank.
Check the brake fluid level and, if necessary, adjust it to the maximum mark.

Check the seal (1) on the sealing cap for damage and replace If necessary.
Mount the sealing cap on the brake fluid expansion tank.
