Install right door sill trim panel

Installing the door sill trim panel

Check

Check the holding clips (1) on the door sill trim panel (2) for damage.

Result

» The holding clips are damaged.

Measure
- Replace the holding clips.
Check the holding clips (1) for damage; replace them if necessary.
If necessary, clip in the holding clips (1) into the body.

Mask the door sill trim panel (1) in the areas (2) with adhesive tape.

Position door sill trim panel.
Clip in the door sill trim panel at the front with the detents (1) in the retaining strip (2).

Clip in the door sill trim panel towards the rear into the holding clips (2).
Clip in the door sill trim panel with the clips (1) in the body.

Tighten nut (2).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Door sill trim panel on body
Plastic nut with flange for coarse thread	Tightening torque	2.5 Nm

Tighten down screws (1).

Remove the adhesive tape (1).
