Adjust the striker on the hood

Measure

Adjust the striker.

Adjust striker (2) by turning nut (1).

Adjusting hood stop pads

NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
Screw in stop pads (1) fully until the pin (2) can be pulled out.

Pull pin (2) out approx. 5 mm.
Slowly close the hood. The pin (2) will be pressed into stop pad (1) while doing so.
Raise hood.
Unscrew stop pad (1) until stop pad is flush with upper edge of pin (2).
