Installing bellows for the left and right steering gear

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Grease the electromechanical steering gear and the tie rod in areas (1) and (2).
CONSUMABLE DESCRIPTION

Lubricating grease FB-1 100 g, Tube 83 23 2 208 093

Check the bellows (2), replace if necessary.
Push up the bellow (2) and position.
Fasten the clip (1).

Replace the ear hose clamp (1).
Parts: Ear hose clamp
Position the ear hose clamp (1).

Attach the hook fastener of the ear hose clamp (1) and press the ear hose clamp using special tool 0 494 152 (32 1 260) .
