Partially remove the storage compartment of the center armrest

Removing the center armrest storage compartment trim 

• Use the special tool 2 298 505 to lever out trim (1) to the rear out of the clamps as pictured.
• Pull the trim (1) up out of the guides.

• Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
• Pull trim (2) up and off.

• Remove the insert (1) upward.

• Loosen screws (1).
• Unclip the floor of the storage compartment (2) upwards from the clamps (3) and lift lightly at the rear.

• If necessary, disconnect the plug connection (1) and remove the floor of the storage compartment (2).
