Remove lower oil pan section

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THRUST FIELD .
- Refer to RELEASING THE OIL DRAIN PLUG .
- Release oil drain plug (1).
- Remove oil drain screw (1) with sealing ring.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations. - Catch the motor oil with a suitable collecting vessel.
- Uninstall cable holder (1).
- Disconnect plug connection (2).
- Loosen screws in area (1).
- Protect the oil pan (2) from falling.
- Lever off the lower oil pan section (1) from the upper oil sump section with a suitable screwdriver.
- Remove lower section of oil pan (1) downwards.
