Installing wiring harness for sensor system of cylinder bank 1

Wiring harness section for sensor system of cylinder bank 1

• Feed in and install the wiring harness for sensor system of cylinder bank 1.
• Attach the wiring harness mounting (8)  .
• Connect the plug connection (7)  to the electronic coolant pump of the exhaust turbocharger and lock it.
• Connect the plug connection (6)  to the thermostat housing and lock it.
• Connect the plug connection (5)  to the temperature sensor and lock it.
• Connect the plug connection (4)  to the differential pressure sensor and lock it.
• Connect the plug connection (2)  to the VANOS solenoid actuator of the exhaust camshaft of cylinder bank 1 and lock it.
• Connect the plug connection (1)  to the VANOS solenoid actuator of the intake camshaft of cylinder bank 1 and lock it.

• Connect the plug connection (3)  to the tank vent line of cylinder bank 1 and lock it.
• Connect the plug connection (1)  to the electronic coolant pump of the low-temperature coolant circuit and lock it.
• Secure the wiring harness mounting (2)  .

• Secure the wiring harness mounting (1)  .

• Connect plug connection (1)  and lock.
• Secure the wiring harness mounting (3)  .
• Fasten the cable (2)  into the clamp (4)  .

• Fasten the wiring harness section of integrated power supply module at the snap-in lug (1)  .

• Tighten down screw (1)  .
• Tighten down screw (2)  .

• Clip in the wiring harness mounting (2)  .
• Position the grounding point.
• Tighten nut (1)  .

• Connect connectors (3)  and lock.
• Fasten the plug connection (3)  into the wiring harness mounting.
• Tighten the screws (2)  .

• Connect connectors (1)  and lock.
• Connect and lock the connector (1)  of the crankshaft sensor.

• Position heat shield (2)  .
• Tighten the screws (1)  .

• Connect connectors (3)  and lock.
• Feed in the plug connection (3)  upwards.
• Unlock the snap-in lug (2)  with a standard screwdriver (1)  , and slide it upwards out of the guide.

• Secure the wiring harness mounting (1)  .

• Connect connectors (1)  and lock.
• Fasten the cable bracket (2)  .
