Removing rear door sill cover strip on left and right

The steps shown on one side must be performed on both sides.

- Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
- Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Release the rear seat (1) in area (2) in upward direction from the detents.
- Unfasten nut (1).
- Detach rear door sill cover strip (2) upwards from the clamps (3) and clips (4) using the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325)
and remove it.
