Removing the charge air crossing
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When the engine is stopped after the completion of trip, it may be necessary to run the electric fan. In rare cases, operation of the electric fan can take up to 11 minutes. This protects the components. In this case, replacing the electric fan is not necessary.

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
NOTE:
The steps shown on one side must be performed on both sides.
- Secure the coolant radiator (1) with the cable tie (2).
- Release the screw (1) on the right cooler module mount.
- Release screw (1) on the left cooler module mount.
- Detach the cooling module (1) with the cooler module mounts (2) from the side members (3) in the direction of arrow.
- Unlock the clamp (1) and engage in this position.
- Detach the charge air crossing (2) from the charge air duct (1).
- Loosen clamp (1).
- Pull the charge air crossing (1) out in the direction of arrow.
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
- Position the charge air crossing (1) as mapped.
- Turn the charge air crossing (1) in the direction of arrow.
- Carefully pull out the charge air crossing (1) in the direction of arrow.
- Make sure that the radiator (2) is not damaged.
- Carefully feed out the charge air crossing (1) in direction of arrow and remove.
- Make sure that the radiator (2) is not damaged.
