Installing the tailgate seal

• Remove sealant residue from the sheet metal flange.
• Clean sheet metal flange.
• Replace tailgate seal (1)  .

  Parts:  Tailgate seal

• Mount tailgate seal (1)  , starting from the center at the top.
• Ensure that tailgate seal (1)  rests correctly on all the adjacent trim panel components.

  Check 

• Check the closing function of the trunk lid.

  Result 

  » The trunk lid does not close correctly.

  Measure

• Ensure that tailgate seal (1)  rests correctly on all the adjacent trim panel components.
