Removing the loading edge trim

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
• Refer to REMOVING BOTH FLAPS IN THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING BOTH LOWER D-PILLAR TRIM PANELS .
• Refer to PARTIALLY DETACH THE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WELL .

• Loosen the expanding rivet (1).
• Unclip loading edge trim (2) upwards from detents (3).
• Feed out the loading edge trim (2) under the sealing lip of the seal for the trunk lid.
