Attach the windshield rubber frame

• Clean the adhesive area of the windshield rubber frame (1)  .

• Replace the windshield rubber frame.

  Parts:  Windshield rubber frame

• Detach protective film (2)  in stages from adhesive tape.
• Insert cover (1)  into the guides (3)  .

• Place the special tool with the pressure rollers (1)  up against the window edge.
• Align cover at outer edge of windshield.
• Put the cover on and visually check to make sure it is positioned correctly.

• Reposition the lever (1)  in arrow direction and close the special tool with it.
• Make sure the cover (3)  is positioned correctly in the guide pulleys (2)  .

• Continue to detach protective film (1)  in stages from adhesive tape.
• Use the handwheel to pull the special tool in the arrow direction over the entire upper edge of the window glass.

• Position the windshield rubber frame (1)  in the center on the mark (2)  .

• Roll up the windshield rubber frame (1)  in the upper area with the special tool 0 496 529 (51 3 320)  .

• Position the windshield rubber frame (1)  sideways on the marks (2)  and press it manually.

• Move lever (1)  in the arrow direction and use special tool 0 496 529 (51 3 320)  to open.

• Position the windshield rubber frames (1)  correctly at the side.
• Pull off the liner (2)  on the windshield rubber frame (1)  and press over the entire length manually.
