Replacing the windshield rubber frame
- Detach the windshield rubber frame (1) .
- Clean the adhesive area of the windshield rubber frame (1) .

NOTE:

- Insert the cover (1) in the guides (3) of the special tool 0 496 529 (51 3 320) .
- Detach protective film (2)
in stages from adhesive tape.
- Position the windshield rubber frame (1) in the center on the mark (2) .
NOTE:

- Place the special tool 0 496 529 (51 3 320) with the pressure rollers (1) on the window edge.
- Align cover at outer edge of windshield.
- Put the cover on and visually check to make sure it is positioned correctly.

- Reposition the lever (1) in arrow direction and close the special tool 0 496 529 (51 3 320) .
- Make sure the cover (3) is positioned correctly in the guide pulleys (2) .

- Continue to detach protective film (1) in stages from adhesive tape.
- Pull the special tool 0 496 529 (51 3 320)
in arrow direction with the handwheel over the entire upper edge of the window glass and roll up the rubber frame in the upper area.
- Roll up the windshield rubber frame (1) in the upper area with the special tool 0 496 529 (51 3 320) .
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Position the windshield rubber frame (1)
sideways on the marks (2)
and press it manually.
- Correctly position the windshield rubber frames (1) on the side.
- Pull out the liner (2) on the windshield rubber frame (1) and press over the entire length manually.
