Removing the front roof frame trim

Preliminary work

NOTE: The steps shown on one side must be performed on both sides.

Slide forward and remove the clamp (1) .

Mark the separation line around parallel to the external edge.
Dimension a=20 mm

Dimension b = 10 mm left and right

Dimension c = 10 mm

Install depth stop (1) and saw blade (2) on the oscillating saw.
Use special tool 5 A0B 392 and 5 A0B 426 .
Adjust depth stop (1) to 4 mm.
Separate front roof frame trim all around the marking.
Remove the separated part.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Wear safety goggles.

Disconnect adhesive bead (1) around with oscillating knife (2) .
Use special tool 5 A0B 3B6 .
Remove roof frame trim.
