When replacing the roof trim strip
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE ROOF TRIM STRIP .
Precondition
The roof trim strip is already painted.
- Apply a drop of super glue in the area (1) of the end cap.
- Position the seal (2) correctly at the end cap.
- Press on the seal (2) firmly until the super glue is dry.
- Slide and engage the end cap in the arrow direction.

- Refer to INSTALLING THE ROOF TRIM STRIP .
