Removing the model inscription at the rear

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components. 
Scratches, surface damage. 

• Protect working area.
• Handle tools and components carefully.

• Mask off the working area with adhesive tape.
• Heat the rear model inscription (1)  carefully with a hot air blower and release it from the tailgate with the special tool 0 496 571 (00 9 327) .

TECHNICAL DATA SPECIFICATION

Heating using hot air blower
	Surface temperature	40°C... 50°C

• Remove the adhesive residues on the tailgate and clean the adhesive area with cleaning agent.
