Removing the trim panel at the top of the rollover protection system

Precondition

Convertible top is open.
Rear seat backrest is folded.

Removing the rear left and right strap fitting

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Removing the strap fitting at the rear

Loosen screw (1).
Remove end lining (2).

Release the expanding rivet (1).
Loosen screws (2).

Remove the stop pad (1).
Remove the covers (2).

Release screws (1) and (2).
Remove the trim panel (3) and while doing so feed out the safety belts.
