Remove the side trim panel in the footwell at the left A-pillar

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY .
Refer to REMOVING THE INNER DOOR SILL COVER STRIP .

Pull the hood release lever (1) to the rear.
Lever out the locking wedge (2).
Remove the hood release lever (1) to the inside.

Loosen screw (1).
Loosen the side trim panel (2) at the clips (3) and remove it toward the inside.
