Installing fan cowl with electric motor

• Insert the fan cowl (1) downwards to the coolant hoses.

• Clip in the hose support (2) to the fan cowl (1).

• F90 only: 

  Insert the front underbody protection (1).

• Slide the front underbody protection (1) slightly backwards and insert it under the thrust field (2).
• Tighten all bolts (arrows).

• F91, F92, F93 only: 

  Insert the front underbody protection (1).

• Slide the front underbody protection (1) slightly backwards and insert it under the thrust field (2).
• Tighten all bolts (arrows).

• Tighten down screw (1).

• Clip in and secure wiring harness mountings (1).

• Tighten down screw (1).

• Connect plug connection (2) and lock.

  • Position the cover of the master DME control unit (1)
  • Engage the cover panel of the master DME control unit (1) downwards with the clamps (2) and the guide pins (3) in the carrier plate of the DME.
• Refer to INSTALLING THE COVER PANEL OF THE SLAVE DME CONTROL UNIT .
