Pre-clean bonding surfaces on vehicle and on new part with cleaning agent R2.
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Clean bonding surfaces on vehicle and on new part with cleaning agent R1.
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Cleaning agent R1 100 ml, Bottle 83192211217
Apply adhesive K5 to the bonding surfaces.
ADHESIVE SPECIFICATION

Body adhesive K5 50 ml 83192158654

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When installing the new part, make sure that all bonding surfaces have sufficient adhesive.
Install the new part and rivet it in the areas (1) and (2) with blind rivets N3.

Rivet the new part in the area (1) with blind rivet N3.

In area (1), rivet the new part with blind rivet N3.
In the area (2), use 3 x punch rivet N4.

Installing the EMC screw
Drill a hole with a diameter of 4.2 mm.
In the case of glued connections, only drill the hole after the adhesive has fully hardened.
Screw in the EMC screw.
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

EMC screw SF Plus M5x15 83190301639
Seal the EMC screw with the sealant.
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Sealant D1 (seam sealing) 310ml 83422409985
After the adhesive has hardened in areas (1), install two EMC screws.
