Replacing the damaged roof clip on the CFRP roof
Overview of possible clip positions
- Do not remove the damaged clips (1) at the roof frame.
- Remove any roof adhesive and sealant from the bonding surface (1).

Cleaning agent R2 500 ml 83190417324 - Affix double-sided adhesive tape (1) to the clip (2).
- Cut the double-sided adhesive tape (1) to the correct dimensions.
- Pull protective film off adhesive tapes.
- Position the clip (1) in the roof duct.
The spacers (2) must be flush on the CFRP roof outer skin first.
- Affix clip (1) with firm thumb pressure.
- The roof trim strip can be mounted after 4 h.
