Removing The Outer Section Of The A-Pillar

Mark and carry out the separating cut (1) as per dimension a. Thereby disconnect only the outer panel. Dimension a = 140 mm from center point of hole with 20 mm diameter.
Open welded connections in area (2).

Mark the separating cut (1) as shown and carry out.
Open welded connections in area (2).

Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (3).
Detach outer section of A-pillar from cavity sealing (4) and remove.
