Remove A-Pillar Reinforcement

Open welded connections in area (1).

NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to bonded connection .
Influence of heat that is too large leads to damage on bonded connections lying on the beading or below .
- Warm bonded connection only for a short time, maximum up to 120°C.

Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in the area (2).
Do not damage the bonded connection in the area (3) between the panels located underneath! Avoid excessive application of heat.
Open spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (1).
Open brazed connection in the area (2).
Release and remove the A-pillar outer section from the cavity sealing (3).

Perform coarse separating cut (1) as shown.
Mark and cut the separating cut (2) as shown. Disconnect only the outer panel.
Release the welded connections in the areas (3) and remove the sheet metal cutout (4).

Release welded connections in areas (1).
Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (2).
Release the reinforcement of the A-pillar from the cavity sealing (3) and remove.

Release the welded connection (1) and remove the section (2) of the hinge mount.
