Remove A-Pillar Reinforcement

Mark and carry out the separating cut (1) as per dimension a. Thereby disconnect only the outer panel. Dimension a = 140 mm from the center of the hole Ø 20 mm.
Open welded connections in area (2).

Loosen welded connections in areas (1).

Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (2).
Release and remove the A-pillar outer section from the cavity sealing (3).

Loosen welded connections in areas (1).
Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (2).

Detach the reinforcement of the A-pillar from the cavity sealing (2) and remove.

Perform the rough separating cut (1) as shown.
Loosen welded connections in areas (2).
Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (3).
Remove the hinge mount (4) together with the cavity sealing (5).
