Adjust the striker on the hood

Check 

• Check the gap dimensions between the hood and the adjoining components

Measure 

• Adjust the striker
• Adjust striker (2) by turning nut (1)

  Adjusting hood stop pads 

  NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side
• Screw in stop pads (1) fully until the pin (2) can be pulled out

  Pull pin (2) out approx. 5 mm

• Slowly close the hood. The pin (2) will be pressed into stop pad (1) while doing so
• Raise hood
• Unscrew stop pad (1) until stop pad is flush with upper edge of pin (2)
