Check
- Check the gap dimensions between the hood and the adjoining components.
TECHNICAL DATA SPECIFICATION
Gap dimension hood to side panel 1 hood; 2 side panel a 3.2 +1.2-1.2 mm b 1.1 +1.6-1.6 mm TECHNICAL DATA SPECIFICATION
Gap dimension hood to headlight 1 hood; 2 headlight a 3.9 +2-2 mm TECHNICAL DATA SPECIFICATION
Gap dimension from hood to bumper cover 1 hood; 2 bumper cover a 3.5 +1.1-1.1 mm b 0.9 +1.5-1.5 mm

» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.
Measure
- Adjust the hood at the hood hinge.
- Slacken the nuts (1) and (2) until the hood can be shifted.
- Shift the hood in a longitudinal direction and sideways until the hood has the specified gap dimension.
- Install the nuts (1) and (2) and tighten.
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Hood to the hinge Nut M8 Tightening torque 19 Nm
