Replacing the trim on the rear bumper cover

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LOADING EDGE TRIM .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING LEFT AND RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FROM THE LEFT AND RIGHT WATER CHANNELS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TAIL LIGHT ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR BUMPER PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM ON THE REAR BUMPER COVER .
Remove the left and right rear reflectors
Removing rear reflector
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Unlock the clamps (1) and remove the rear reflector at rear from the trim.
- Remove the cover for towing eye (1).
- Replace the trim (2).

- Install the cover for towing eye (1).

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical. - Check clamps (1) on the rear reflector at rear (2) for damage and replace if necessary.
- Position the rear reflector in the rear bumper cover and clip it in with the clamps (1).
