Removing and installing the front brake hose (vehicles with high brake)

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL .
- Refer to INSTALLING BRAKE PEDAL TENSIONER .
NOTE:

- Release union screw (1).
Hold on to square shaft, if necessary (2).
- Detach brake hose (1) from brake caliper.
If necessary, grip at knurling (2).
- If necessary, detach the brake hose from holder (3).
- Fit and tighten brake hose (1) on brake caliper.
If necessary, grip at knurling (2).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONBrake hose to brake caliper, front tightening torque 17 Nm - Make sure the brake hose is not twisted and resting on components attached to the body.
- Hook the brake hose into holder (3).
- Attach and tighten union screw (1).
Hold on to square shaft, if necessary (2).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONBrake pipe screw connection/Union screws tightening torque 17 Nm
