Installing The Rear Luggage Compartment Floor

• Pre-clean bonding surfaces on vehicle and on new part with cleaning agent R2.

• Clean bonding surfaces on vehicle and on new part with cleaning agent R1.

• Apply adhesive K5 to the bonding surfaces.

  ADHESIVE SPECIFICATION

• Install the new part and rivet in areas (1) to (3) with blind rivets N3.

  CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION 

  Blind rivet N3  Ø 4 mm; clamping area 1-3 mm

Installing the EMC screw 

• Drill a hole with a diameter of 4.2 mm.

  In the case of glued connections, only drill the hole after the adhesive has fully hardened.

• Screw in the EMC screw.

• Seal the EMC screw with the sealant.

• Install 3 EMC screws in areas (1) after the adhesive has hardened.
