Install rear spoiler

Check the rear spoiler.
Do not install rear spoilers with poor fitting accuracy.

Any rear spoiler positioned loosely on the tailgate must be in contact with the tailgate over the entire area and at the corners in particular.
Transfer the center (1) of the tailgate with adhesive tape onto the outer side of the rear spoiler.

Place the rear spoiler (1) on the tailgate and align it with the adhesive tape and the tailgate button.
Check whether the rear spoiler (1) fits correctly and is in the center.
Clean the bonding surface of the tailgate.

Detach the protective film of the bonding surface, align the rear spoiler (1) as shown and stick it onto the tailgate.
Use the backs of your hands to press down firmly on the rear spoiler (1) over the entire surface, particularly at the ends.
Press on the adhesive strip with your thumbs or the back of your hand over the entire area since the adhesion of the adhesive tape builds up significantly through contact pressure.
Remove the adhesive tape.
